Corey Lester Pharm.D., Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy, University of Michigan College of Pharmacy

Corey Lester is an assistant professor of clinical pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy.  He received an M.S. and Ph.D. in Social and Administrative Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Pharmacy.  Previously, he graduated with a Pharm.D. from the University of Rhode Island in 2012 and completed a PGY-1 community practice residency at Virginia Commonwealth University.  His area of interest focuses on improving medication use outcomes by preventing errors, improving pharmacist work and optimizing drug therapy with machine learning tools.  His work is currently funded by the National Institute of Health's National Library of Medicine, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and National Council for Prescription Drug Programs.
